BWT water+more | BWT bestaqua 14 ROC Coffee System
BWT bestaqua 14 ROC Coffee concept ensures the performance and lifetime of coffee machine equipment, and it strongly supports a perfect and reliable quality of coffee and tea, based on perfect standard water quality worldwide. This concept is based on know-how provided in the SCA water quality handbook.
BWT bestaqua 14 ROC Coffee system consists of two main components connected to local tap water and to a coffee machine. The first component is a compact high performance reverse osmosis unit. The second unit is a filter cartridge for special mineralization purposes of water derived from reverse osmosis unit: BWT bestaqua 14 PREMIUM.
Both units together serve water dedicated for coffee, with a very consistent water quality, always fully controlled by a connected special app, always monitoring the actual performance of the unit in total. Technically, the achieved result is much better compared to other reverse osmosis systems in the market, in terms of a high efficiency (typically 50% water recovery rate) so that less water is needed for the complete process, leading to a much better profile in sustainability.
Practically, the system is very easy to handle (by the app), space saving, easy to install and to service by quick and save exchange of filter cartridges for RO and Magnesium Mineralisation, without any tools needed.
First at the BWT bestaqua 14 ROC Coffee reverse osmosis unit, bypass can be fixed in order to achieve the desired total amount of dissolved salts. This is directly measured as conductivity after the complete unit, actual conductivity is shown directly in the respective BWT-App.
Result of step 1: Best quantity of dissolved salts in water for coffee is achieved.
The second step is a special mineralization of the water with Magnesium, by the BWT bestaqua 14 PREMIUM filter cartridge, in exchange vs. Calcium-Ions still in the water after the RO unit.
This special treatment (‘BWT-Magnesium-Technology’), is unique and patented by BWT, for a perfect brewing and extraction process for every kind of coffee. See also in ‘Magnesium Whitepaper’.
Result of step 2: Best quality and quantity of mineralization for water for coffee.
By using our product, the final coffee quality in the cup can be standardized worldwide by standardizing water for coffee and by standardizing in parallel amount (grams) of coffee used, grinding, and settings of the coffee machine.
