Good Vodka harnesses the sugar in discarded coffee fruit pulp as a new platform for premium, sustainable distillate.

Over six years of R&D, Good Liquorworks founders Tristan Willey and Mark Byrne developed a process by which to preserve coffee fruit pulp suspended in wastewater and harness its natural sugars as a basis for alcohol.

The resulting product, Good Vodka, is likely the first distilled spirit to use coffee fruit as it base. Because it redirects the fruit from typical waste streams, and therefore reduces typical carbon and methane emissions, Good Vodka's carbon footprint is -15.76 kgco2e, per analysis by the Dutch firm EcoChain — the equivalent of a gasoline-powered car driving 40 miles. Good Vodka's supply chain was developed in partnership with Colombia's Federación Nacional de Cafeteros.

The vodka itself has received rave reviews: Punch Magazine says, "It’s the rare vodka you can sip neat," while Vogue Magazine calls it "almost frighteningly delicious."
