Inspired by the exploring nature of specialty coffee roasters and baristas, we at ander only use the essential ingredients to craft drinking chocolate, never more. Vegan, without powders, fillers or artificial ingredients. And with light roasted cocoa beans beans first. Always.

Finally matching the level of quality, origin experiences & transparency (in sourcing, process & ingredients) of a drinking chocolate to that of our so much loved specialty coffees. And so easy.

The high level of solubility of our ground chocolate delivers the fastest way (20 seconds on the steam wand) to brew a high quality, smooth hot chocolate. Both as a drinking chocolate or a chocolate shot in a chocolate latté. No need to overheat your milk (or plant-based alternative). No need to stir like a fool.

One of our first drinking chocolates is a 65% dark chocolate with Trinitario cocoa beans coming from farmers in the Idukki Hills district in the Southwest of India. The beans are centrally fermented for 5 days in cascading wooden boxes from Wild Jack timber? Followed by sun-drying on tables under open shelter.
Expect a light chocolaty profile and a very creamy texture. Warm spices and dried fruit paired with deep caramel, molasses, raisin and spices coming from the unrefined panela sugar.
