Combined with an intuitive interface for easy programming, a patented burr alignment system, and smart connectivity for grind-by- weight functionality, Jay quickly delivers exceptional consistency and quality in every shot. The Jay’s burr holder is magnetically attached, making it easy to remove for cleaning. This also helps protect against damage from foreign objects, like stones, by unseating the burrs instead of cracking the burr housing. In addition, the burrs are rear-mounted to the magnetic burr holder, creating an uninterrupted cutting surface for a precision grind. Thanks to the design of the hopper and the easily removable magnetic burr holdier, the Jay disassembles in mere seconds, giving you easy access to clean the grinding chamber. The Jay is meticulously engineered to deliver fast, efficient, and consistent grinding: a typical 18-gram dose takes just under five seconds. The grinding chamber has been specifically designed to sit at a 45 ° angle, minimizing retention to less than 2 grams of coffee. The hopper automatically closes when removed, preventing accidental spills when changing coffee or cleaning.
