The Acaia Ion Beam is designed to work with the Orbit or other coffee grinders, providing a solution to the common problem of static generated during the grinding process.
Ion Beam features an industrial-grade ion generator that effectively minimizes static generated from grinding, leading to lower retention, flying chaff, and fewer clumps. This is achieved by releasing a stream of negatively charged ions that neutralize the positive charges that build up during the grinding process, eliminating the static electricity that causes coffee grounds to cling together.
